ABOUT ME
Growing up in India, Monica was always surrounded by the world of yoga, spirituality, and holistic living. Although she did not fully step into these practices until later in her adult life, there was always an innate connection to them through her upbringing and environment. When she eventually began exploring yoga more deeply, it felt both transformative and strangely familiar as though she was returning to something that had always been within her.
Before moving into wellness full-time, Monica spent many years living and working in fast-paced global cities including Mumbai, Milan, and New York within the worlds of fashion, luxury, media, and corporate life. While exciting on the outside, that lifestyle eventually led her back to her roots and onto a deeper path of yoga, spirituality, and self-inquiry.
What began as a personal practice soon became a profound inner journey. Rather than rushing into teaching, Monica spent years focused on her own learning and growth, immersing herself in the philosophy and practice of yoga, meditation, breathwork, and mindfulness before feeling ready to share it with others. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Mexico and has spent extensive time learning from traditional yoga teachers and gurus in Mysore, Goa, and different parts of India.
Over the years, she has also continued to deepen her practice through workshops, trainings, and immersions with international teachers and healers across Stockholm, Cape Town, Vietnam, Thailand, Mexico, South Africa, and India — experiences that have shaped her grounded yet globally influenced approach to teaching.
Her path later expanded into sound healing during one of her trips to India, where she attended a gong bath that deeply moved her emotionally and energetically. Experiencing the profound effect sound had on her inner world sparked a desire to study it further. She went on to train in sound healing in both India and Mexico, exploring a range of traditional and shamanic healing modalities using instruments such as crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, gongs, and chimes.
Today, Monica brings together yoga, sound healing, meditation, breathwork, and holistic practices to create calming, intentional, and deeply restorative experiences. Her work is rooted in authenticity, presence, and the belief that true healing begins when we slow down enough to reconnect with ourselves.
